The platform company behind ClearPath. And the platform that powers it.

ObjectSpectrum builds and operates Prism, thefoundational platform behind ClearPath. The company has been running Prism inproduction for years across multiple deployments and equipment categories.

The Company

A platform company built to do one kind of thing well.

ObjectSpectrum is the platform company that lets equipment businesses become installed-base businesses. The company builds operational platforms that turn deployed physical equipment into a source of continuous operational and financial value, and brings productized versions of those platforms to market through partners with existing customer relationships in defined industries.

ObjectSpectrum is not an IoT vendor. Not a custom development shop. Not a systems integrator. Those category labels describe what businesses do; ObjectSpectrum describes what business it is. The discipline is consistent across every product: identify the operational job no existing system in the stack is built to do, build the platform that does that job, and bring it to market through partners who already serve the industry.

ClearPath is one product in that lineage. The same discipline produced it as has produced every other ObjectSpectrum product.

The Platform

Prism is the foundational platform. ClearPath is one product on it.

Prism is the foundational platform ObjectSpectrum operates. It’s the technical substrate underneath every productized solution ObjectSpectrum brings to market. The dispatch logic, the sensor integrations, the data infrastructure, the machine learning capabilities, the partner-and-platform model, the operational reliability layer: all of it lives on Prism.

Prism has been in production across deployments for years. Years of operational refinement, machine-learning capability built in at the platform layer, and integration patterns proven across multiple equipment categories. New capabilities ship continuously and benefit every product built on Prism. Partners deploying ClearPath inherit the platform investment ObjectSpectrum makes across the broader portfolio without funding it themselves.

The operational maturity of Prism is what makes ClearPath work in deployment rather than just on a page. ClearPath isn’t a new build that needs to be hardened against scale. It’s a productization of a pattern Prism has been running in other categories for years.

The Category

Equipment Intelligence is the category. ObjectSpectrum created it.

Equipment Intelligence is the transformation of deployed physical equipment into a source of continuous operational and financial value. The shift from a transactional equipment business to an installed-base business. ObjectSpectrum created the category and operates the platform that delivers it.

Most companies that make, rent, service, or operate equipment capture value once per transaction: once per sale, once per service visit, once per rental period. The equipment keeps operating after that transaction. The customer relationship continues. But the data, the recurring revenue, the operational intelligence available from every deployed unit goes uncaptured. Equipment Intelligence is the operational and economic model that captures it.

ClearPath is one application of Equipment Intelligence, the one focused on fixed-path service operations. Other applications run on Prism in other categories. Each one applies the same underlying pattern to a different operational shape.

The Portfolio

ClearPath is one product. Prism enables more.

ClearPath is the first productized solution ObjectSpectrum brought to market through partner channels. It serves fixed-path service operations across waste and recycling, sharps and medical waste, restroom consumables, stadium and venue consumables, and fleet fueling.

Envoy is a parallel productized solution on Prism, built for a different operational category and addressed to a different industry. Future productized solutions will follow the same template, each one focused on an operational job no existing system in the stack is built to do.

For ClearPath partners and end customers, the relevant detail is what ClearPath does. For visitors here doing due diligence on the company behind it, the relevant detail is that ClearPath isn’t a standalone build. It’s one part of a broader platform strategy that’s been in operation for years.

On AI

Operationally grounded. Not skeptical, not maximalist.

Machine learning and AI-driven prediction have been part of Prism for years, in production, across deployments. The position the company takes on AI is grounded in that operational experience rather than in current industry positioning.

ObjectSpectrum applies AI where it adds real operational value and doesn’t where it doesn’t. The platform doesn’t treat AI as a feature checkbox; it treats AI as one of several capabilities under continuous investment. Every product on Prism benefits from those capabilities automatically as they ship.

ClearPath’s capability roadmap, owned at the platform level, governs which of those capabilities come into ClearPath and when. The thoughtful middle is the position. It’s what years of running ML in live operational environments produces.
